Meltaway Cookies

Meltaways

1 C. butter
¾ C. cornstarch
¾ C. powdered sugar
1 C. flour
1 recipe Cream Cheese Frosting (see below)

In a medium bowl, cream butter until fluffy.  Add cornstarch & sugar and blend well.  Beat in flour until thoroughly mixed.  Drop by small teaspoons onto baking sheet & flatten out with the bottom of a class. (Dip glass in powdered sugar to prevent sticking).  Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.  Cool on wire rack & frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Cream Cheese Frosting

1 (3oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1 C. powdered sugar
½ t. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together.  Color with food coloring if desired.

Crock Pot Butter Lemon Chicken

Crockpot Lemon Chicken - Put cube of butter in bottom of crock pot. Lay chicken in pot. Sprinkle Italian dressing packet over chicken, drizzle with lemon juice, pop the lid on. Cook on High 4-5 hours, or Low 6-8 hours.

Crack Potatoes

2 (16oz) containers sour cream
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
2 (3oz) bags real bacon bits
2 packages Ranch Dip mix
1 large (28 - 30oz) bag frozen hash brown potatoes - shredded kind

Combine first 4 ingredients, mix in hash browns.  Spread into a 9x13 pan.  Bake at 400 for 45-60 minutes.

Microwave Oh Henry Bars

2 c. old fashioned oatmeal
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. corn syrup
2 heaping tbsp. chunky peanut butter
1/2 c. chocolate chips
Microwave oatmeal and butter in 1 quart size microwavable dish for 2 minutes. Add brown sugar and corn syrup. Microwave for 2 more minutes. Stir ingredients after each 2 minutes of microwaving. Press into 8 inch square pan.Topping: Microwave, peanut butter and chips together for 1 1/2-2 minutes. Stir and spread on bars.
